"This is the first UK release of this 1969 album by the French singing legend on CD. Boasts the last-ever recording session of the Small Faces – a missing link in their history. Also known by its opening track, ‘Riviere… Ouvre Ton Lit’, Johnny Hallyday topped the French charts at the time. Two Steve Marriott/Ronnie Lane songs, ‘Reclamation (News Report)’ and ‘Regarde Pour Moi (What You Will]’, were later re-recorded for the debut Humble Pie album, “As Safe As Yesterday Is…”. The sessions also featured Peter Frampton on guitar. Hallyday’s band was led by Micky Jones, later a founder member of rock band Foreigner."
