Maggie Holland - singer, guitarist, banjo and bass player - forged a solo career during and after being a key member of Hot Vultures, the English Country Blues Band and Tiger Moth and taking a singing role in the National Theatre's production of The Mysteries.
A classy songwriter, her songs have been recorded by June Tabor, Martin Carthy and others but she's equally adept at hand picking and personally re-interpreting works by others, from the well-known to the obscure.
